Ralph & team did an excellent job. We were rained out the day I originally scheduled and Ralph promptly re-arranged his schedule to accommodate me. The team showed up on time on the day of the job and completed it in one day just as discussed. Overall I enjoyed working with Ralph. I found him to be a very honest and well spoken person. He listened to what I described and suggested options that would save money without sacrificing quality. I found him to be very trustworthy and would not hesitate to work with him again in the future. There isn’t much more you can ask for in a contractor than that!

I contacted Brothers Sheetmetal as one of two companies that would give me an estimate on installing gutters on my house. Ralph arrived promptly and was extremely nice to deal with. He surveyed the house and garage, took measurements, discussed pros and cons of gutter placement, colors, etc. He was very thorough and explained everything. He sent me a formal proposal that was quite reasonable, especially with the angie’s list discount.
Why did I end up not going with Brothers Sheetmetal? No good reason. I just had to choose between two good companies. I’m confident that if I went with Brothers Sheetmetal I would have been very satisfied. Based on my experience with them for the first part of the process, I would recommend them to anyone.

Showed up on time for the estimate and considered multiple options for solving the unique issues for the multi-level home. They recommended a nice design and implemented the plan on time and at the quoted cost. I am very happy with their work and look forward to the first rain to get a real test under our belt.

Called 3 companies. Ralph of Brother’s Metal was the first to come out. He was informative as to types of gutters and what he thought would look best with my home. His written proposal was very professional including not only specs but references and insurance coverage.
I got another bid that was lower and I spoke with Raplh and asked him to explain the differences in pricing. He really worked with me and I felt his product was superior and therefore justified a higher price.
The guys that put up the gutters were on time and did a great job. Would not hesitate to recommend.

They provided an estimate back in May but because there of the reroofing that had been previously scheduled and took longer than expected, the actual installation of the gutters was not done till mid-June. They performed exactly as promised; responsive and very professional; provided a competitive price; and give lifetime warranty on their work. I would definitely recommend them.

Overall the experience was surprisingly pleasing. When we bought our house one of the first things on my list to get done was to install gutters. The house was about 10 years old and never had gutters installed. I researched many companies on the internet and called a few. When I spoke with Ralph, he seemed knowledgeable and pleasant on the phone and when we met he was the same in person. I had a few concerns with the existing flashing that didn’t appear to be finished very well in the corners and I didn’t want any downspouts in the front of the house. Ralph said the they are a sheet metal company and the flashing wouldn’t be a problem and he calculated the roof square footage and said that the 6 inch gutters could carry the water to the sides of the house so they could configure the downspouts as I had requested. The quote was great, it had a diagram with a detailed layout of the gutters and downspouts, two pages of local references, their brochure with a brief description of the product and FAQ’s, a copy of their workers comp insurance, and liability insurance (very thorough and complete). I was eager to get started but found out that they were booked for the next three weeks and the color gutters we wanted was not in stock. Luckily the order and scheduling came together about the same time and the gutters were installed on the day and time promised. Ralph left me his cell phone number to call if I had any questions or observations about the installation down the road. The gutters and the color looked great, they accented and enhanced the appearance of our home. I kidded with Ralph later on the phone that I actually was hoping for a little rain and he kidded back, I hope it pours!
